This Blue Marlin is an original watercolor painting. I am just getting into watercolors, and find them extremely fun and challenging. Watercolors and fish seem to go hand in hand, so this was my first attempt at making an illustration of a blue marlin. While I had many reference photos, none of them looked like this one. I saw the best in each fish, and put it into this pose and color choices.
